The doctor has referred her to EMDR therapy, but the public waiting list is 8 months, and private sessions at the Islamabad Counselling Collective cost $10 each. Mehwish has been honest with her employer and taken some time off, but can't keep going without support. Therapy has already helped a little in the sessions Mehwish could afford. The therapist recommends 16 weekly sessions, and consistent help will make the difference. Asking for help with this has been the hardest part for Mehwish, and we're grateful for your kindness without judgment.
