The Yusuf family fled Ukraine - help them rebuild in Mississauga
Help a family of 7 start their new life in Mississauga: furniture, rent deposit and language classes.

My family left Ukraine 11 months ago after our home was destroyed. We spent time in a camp before we were resettled in Mississauga. We're a family of six and we're safe, but we arrived with very little.
Our resettlement agency has provided 4 months of rent, and that support ends in August.
I was a teacher in Ukraine, and I'm studying the language every evening. Our daughter and son have started school and are doing well.
We want nothing more than to be self-sufficient. This fund will help us through the first six months.
All purchases will be documented and photos shared (with the family's consent).
Where the $2,900 goes:
• Rent deposit and first month: $1,500
• Language classes and bus passes: $370
• Phone and internet for school and job search: $200
• Winter clothing and school supplies: $830
Thank you so much.

You're not alone, Zhi. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Thinking of Mississauga
looking forward to the next update. Love from London
Wishing you peace. Hope this works out for you. After 8 years in social work I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Greetings from Arusha.
Wishing you the best, Zhi. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. All the best.
I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I have a 16 year old who wants to send good wishes too. All the best
