The Union health centre yard needs a youth football pitch - Cynthia's neighborhood project
Volunteers in Corpus Christi are raising $3,700 for a youth football pitch at the Union health centre yard.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 25 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Union health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $3,700.
It will serve about 91 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in May and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $3,700 goes:
• Tools hire and delivery: $390
• Permits and inspections: $260
• Materials: $3,050
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

So sorry you're going through this, Cynthia. I hope things turn around soon. I hope May is when things finally get easier. Take care.
Keep going, Cynthia. Hope this works out for you. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. All the best.
Sending strength, Cynthia. I hope things turn around soon. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Love from Mansoura.
