I coordinate donations at Jacaranda Women's Shelter in New Delhi. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 4-12. If you're in New Delhi, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Jacaranda Women's Shelter on Friday between 9am and 4pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the Jacaranda Women's Shelter clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Sending good thoughts, Ayesha. Shared this with my family. Greetings from Kingston.
Thinking of you. This could happen to any of us. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Greetings from Pelotas
