The Rahimi family fled Syria - help them rebuild in Marseille
Help a family of 4 start their new life in Marseille: furniture, rent deposit and language classes.

My family left Syria 8 months ago after we could no longer live safely. We spent time in a camp before we were resettled in Marseille. We're a family of seven and we're safe, but we arrived with very little.
Our resettlement agency has provided 4 months of rent, and that support ends in March.
I was a shopkeeper in Syria, and I'm studying the language every evening. Our daughter and son have started school and are doing well.
We want nothing more than to be self-sufficient. This fund will help us through the first six months.
Funds are managed by the Marseille Refugee Support Network, a registered organization, which pays the landlord and suppliers on the family's behalf.
Where the $2,000 goes:
• Beds, table and basic furniture: $750
• Phone and internet for school and job search: $190
• Rent deposit and first month: $1,060
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Good luck. Hope you get there. My neighbor in Hamilton donated after I showed her your page. Thinking of Marseille.
Wishing you the best, Nathan. Your post was clear and honest.
Thanks for sharing this, Nathan. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We're a small family in Coyoacán but we're thinking of you. Thinking of Marseille
Wishing you the best. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I went through something like this 4 years ago and strangers helped me out. Take care
Praying for you. Gave what I could, wish it was more. After 26 years in customer support I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Blessings.
