The Pioneer community hall needs a youth football pitch - Farah's neighborhood project

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 22 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Pioneer community hall, but no funding. We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $100. It will serve about 486 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in March and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance. Where the $100 goes: • Tools hire and delivery: $70 • Permits and inspections: $20 • Safety equipment and signage: $10 Thank you for reading my story. - Farah
