The old Unity bus depot needs a sensory garden for children with autism - Genesis's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a sensory garden for children with autism - we need $1,750 for materials.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a sensory garden for children with autism. This year a group of 17 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Unity bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $1,750.
It will serve about 502 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in January and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $1,750 goes:
• Materials: $970
• Permits and inspections: $80
• Safety equipment and signage: $360
• Tools hire and delivery: $340
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.
