The old Union bus depot needs a youth football pitch - Noor's neighborhood project
Volunteers in Haarlem are raising $3,050 for a youth football pitch at the old Union bus depot.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 12 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Union bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $3,050.
It will serve about 328 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in January and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $3,050 goes:
• Materials: $2,350
• Permits and inspections: $340
• Safety equipment and signage: $135
• Tools hire and delivery: $225

Sure. The biggest one is materials, $2,350. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Thanks, that means a lot.
