The old Union bus depot needs a rainwater harvesting system - Aisha's neighborhood project
A community-led a rainwater harvesting system at the old Union bus depot that will serve 338 neighbors.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 10 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Union bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $550.
It will serve about 338 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $550 goes:
• Materials: $430
• Permits and inspections: $55
• Safety equipment and signage: $20
• Tools hire and delivery: $45
Thanks for being kind about this.
