The old Liberty bus depot needs a youth football pitch - Erlangga's neighborhood project
Volunteers in Semarang are raising $550 for a youth football pitch at the old Liberty bus depot.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 8 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Liberty bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $550.
It will serve about 211 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in September and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.

• Materials: $430
• Permits and inspections: $50
• Safety equipment and signage: $30
• Tools hire and delivery: $40
