The old Harmony bus depot needs a community fridge - Lucy's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a community fridge - we need $1,900 for materials.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 8 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Harmony bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $1,900.
It will serve about 559 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in August and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $1,900 goes:
• Materials: $1,000
• Permits and inspections: $360
• Safety equipment and signage: $270
• Tools hire and delivery: $270
