The old Harmony bus depot needs a playground - Winda's neighborhood project

We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a playground - we need $650 for materials.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 20 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Harmony bus depot, but no funding. We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $60, and the remaining cost is $650. It will serve about 189 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $650 goes: • Materials: $580 • Safety equipment and signage: $40 • Permits and inspections: $30 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
