The Freedom health centre yard needs a skate park - Kevin's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a skate park - we need $2,950 for materials.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 19 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Freedom health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $2,950.
It will serve about 575 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in June and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $2,950 goes:
• Materials: $2,200
• Permits and inspections: $220
• Safety equipment and signage: $320
• Tools hire and delivery: $210
