The Freedom health centre yard needs a community fridge - Lalita's neighborhood project
Volunteers in Khon Kaen are raising $650 for a community fridge at the Freedom health centre yard.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 19 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Freedom health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $300, and the remaining cost is $650.
It will serve about 133 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $650 goes:
• Tools hire and delivery: $65
• Permits and inspections: $45
• Materials: $540
