The Freedom community hall needs a community fridge - Francis's neighborhood project
A community-led a community fridge at the Freedom community hall that will serve 460 neighbors.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 20 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Freedom community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $300.
It will serve about 460 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $300 goes:
• Materials: $200
• Permits and inspections: $50
• Safety equipment and signage: $30
• Tools hire and delivery: $20
