Thabo's final semester of a nursing degree in Johannesburg
Thabo is one semester away from finishing a nursing degree but is blocked from enrolling by an unpaid balance of $900.

Thabo is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a nursing degree at the Johannesburg Institute of Technology, and is one semester away from graduating. He has worked as a warehouse packer to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $900.
The registrar has said Thabo can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Thabo has a top-ten-percent average, and a professor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Thabo would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Thabo isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the the Johannesburg Institute of Technology bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.

• Exam and lab fees: $30
• Textbooks and materials: $30

Sure. The biggest one is outstanding tuition balance, $270. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one.
