Tenant-rights advice for Waqas in Rawalpindi: a short consultation
Looking for housing-law advice in Punjab: an order to leave for 'renovations'.
🇵🇰 Rawalpindi, Punjab, Pakistan1,454 views
My landlord in Rawalpindi has given me an order to leave for 'renovations'. I've read what I can online, but the rules are confusing and different sources contradict each other.
I'm hoping that someone with experience in housing or tenant rights in Punjab could spare 20-30 minutes to explain the process, the deadlines and the documents I should collect.
I have my lease, all communications and photos organized. I'm happy to share them privately. I can't pay for a lawyer, so any guidance on free services in Punjab would also be appreciated.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

You're not alone, Waqas. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Greetings from Leeds.

Best of luck. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. All the best.
