Tenant-rights advice for Silke in Braunschweig: a short consultation
A brief consultation with a housing advisor would help Silke understand their rights.

My landlord in Braunschweig has given me an order to leave for 'renovations'. I've read what I can online, but the rules are confusing and different sources contradict each other.
I'm hoping that someone with experience in housing or tenant rights in Lower Saxony could spare 20-30 minutes to explain the process, the deadlines and the documents I should collect.
I have my lease, all communications and photos organized. I'm happy to share them privately. I can't pay for a lawyer, so any guidance on free services in Lower Saxony would also be appreciated.
Thank you so much.

You're not alone. Looking forward to the next update. Thinking of Braunschweig.
Take care, Silke. This could happen to any of us. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too
