Tenant-rights advice for Seo-yeon in Seoul: a short consultation
A brief consultation with a housing advisor would help Seo-yeon understand their rights.

My landlord in Seoul has given me a withheld security deposit. I've read what I can online, but the rules are confusing and different sources contradict each other.
I'm hoping that someone with experience in housing or tenant rights in Seoul could spare 20-30 minutes to explain the process, the deadlines and the documents I should collect.
I have my lease, all communications and photos organized. I'm happy to share them privately. I can't pay for a lawyer, so any guidance on free services in Seoul would also be appreciated.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Good luck, Seo-yeon. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My neighbor in Quetta donated after I showed her your page. Love from Quetta.
So sorry you're going through this, Seo-yeon. Hope this works out for you. I went through something like this 5 years ago and strangers helped me out. Greetings from Leeds
