Tenant-rights advice for Lorena in São Paulo: a short consultation
A brief consultation with a housing advisor would help Lorena understand their rights.

My landlord in São Paulo has given me an order to leave for 'renovations'. I've read what I can online, but the rules are confusing and different sources contradict each other.
I'm hoping that someone with experience in housing or tenant rights in São Paulo could spare 20-30 minutes to explain the process, the deadlines and the documents I should collect.
I have my lease, all communications and photos organized. I'm happy to share them privately. I can't pay for a lawyer, so any guidance on free services in São Paulo would also be appreciated.
Glad we found this place.

Thinking of you and your family. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My neighbor in Bergamo donated after I showed her your page. Take care.
Keep going, Lorena. This could happen to any of us
Looking forward to the next update. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Thinking of São Paulo.
Hope this works out for you. Put this on a community board in Buenos Aires this morning. God bless.
reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. After 26 years in teaching I know how hard it is to ask for anything. Blessings.
take care, Lorena. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too.
