Tenant-rights advice for Emma in Auckland: a short consultation
A brief consultation with a housing advisor would help Emma understand their rights.

My landlord in Auckland has given me a refusal to repair mold. I've read what I can online, but the rules are confusing and different sources contradict each other.
I'm hoping that someone with experience in housing or tenant rights in Auckland could spare 20-30 minutes to explain the process, the deadlines and the documents I should collect.
I have my lease, all communications and photos organized. I'm happy to share them privately. I can't pay for a lawyer, so any guidance on free services in Auckland would also be appreciated.
Thank you for reading my story.

So sorry you're going through this. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I hope July is when things finally get easier. Love from Saket
I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. All the best.
