Tenant-rights advice for Aleena in Faisalabad: a short consultation
A brief consultation with a housing advisor would help Aleena understand their rights.

My landlord in Faisalabad has given me a 40% rent increase with a 30-day notice. I've read what I can online, but the rules are confusing and different sources contradict each other.
I'm hoping that someone with experience in housing or tenant rights in Punjab could spare 20-30 minutes to explain the process, the deadlines and the documents I should collect.
I have my lease, all communications and photos organized. I'm happy to share them privately. I can't pay for a lawyer, so any guidance on free services in Punjab would also be appreciated.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Hope things get better soon, Aleena. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected
