Taghreed was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer in August. The oncology team at 6th of October City Regional Medical Center has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in October. She will be away from work for about 4 weeks.
Taghreed is 33, worked as a tailor until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to 6th of October City Regional Medical Center 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Household costs while unable to work: $240
• Scans and lab work: $180
• Transport to 6th of October City Regional Medical Center: $70

Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. chemotherapy and medication not covered comes first ($510) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Fair thing to want to know.
