Sota was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor in August. The surgeon at Tokyo University Hospital recommended laparoscopic cyst removal, and He is scheduled for November. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $3,900, and after what our health plan will pay we're still $3,100 short. my son has been in and out of Tokyo University Hospital since August. The doctors say a benign brain tumor will get worse without laparoscopic cyst removal. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $3,900 is more than we can find. While we wait, Sota struggles with daily life and can't lift anything heavy. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.       The list at the bottom is the whole picture. surgeon and anesthesia fees is the biggest at $2,200.
