Surgery fund for Sota: laparoscopic cyst removal in Tokyo
A scheduled laparoscopic cyst removal in November is out of reach without help covering $3,100 of the cost.

Sota was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor in August. The surgeon at Tokyo University Hospital recommended laparoscopic cyst removal, and He is scheduled for November. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $3,900, and after what our health plan will pay we're still $3,100 short.
my son has been in and out of Tokyo University Hospital since August. The doctors say a benign brain tumor will get worse without laparoscopic cyst removal. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $3,900 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Sota struggles with daily life and can't lift anything heavy. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 12 weeks. During that time Sota won't be able to lift anything heavy, so the costs keep growing.

The list at the bottom is the whole picture. surgeon and anesthesia fees is the biggest at $2,200.
