Surgery fund for Simona: laparoscopic cyst removal in Rome
After severe cataracts in both eyes, Simona was cleared for laparoscopic cyst removal, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Simona was diagnosed with severe cataracts in both eyes in May. The surgeon at Rome Community Hospital recommended laparoscopic cyst removal, and She is scheduled for August. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $4,000, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $2,000 short.
my wife has been in and out of Rome Community Hospital since May. The doctors say severe cataracts in both eyes will get worse without laparoscopic cyst removal. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $4,000 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Simona struggles with daily life and can't climb stairs. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 7 weeks. During that time Simona won't be able to climb stairs, so the costs keep growing.
