Markus was diagnosed with severe cataracts in both eyes in February. The surgeon at Saint Matthew Hospital recommended a partial thyroidectomy, and He is scheduled for May. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $9,250, and after what my insurance will pay we're still $6,500 short.
my father has been in and out of Saint Matthew Hospital since February. The doctors say severe cataracts in both eyes will get worse without a partial thyroidectomy. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $9,250 is more than we can find.
