Could you drive Sun-woo to the Seoul Dialysis Unit on Friday? A rota of 6 drivers is forming.

Sun-woo has been on dialysis for 2 years and until recently drove to the Seoul Dialysis Unit alone. After a minor stroke, Sun-woo can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week. We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 17 km each way. Sun-woo is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food. Please say which day works for you in the comments. I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

This helper is honest and transparent about what they can do. They didn't overpromise, but they did deliver excellent results. I would definitely trust them again.

  • keep going, Young-ho. Shared this with my family. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Thinking of Seoul.
