Storm in Boulogne-Billancourt: help the Riverside settlement rebuild
After the storm, families in the Riverside settlement need clean water, roofing materials and bedding.
🇫🇷 Boulogne-Billancourt, Île-de-France, France7,104 views
The storm hit the Riverside settlement on 6 April. My home was one of 54 damaged, and 14 families are still in temporary shelter at a borrowed warehouse.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
We buy supplies locally and in bulk, so the money goes further. Receipts and photos will be posted in updates.
Where the $4,800 goes:
• Roofing sheets and timber: $1,500
• Clean water and purification supplies: $470
• Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $520
• Food parcels for displaced families: $1,400
• Tools and labor for repairs: $910
Thank you for reading my story.

Rooting for you, Quentin. Your post was clear and honest. Greetings from Ottawa
Is there anything that isn't money that would help Quentin?
Praying for you. More neighborhoods should do this. I went through something like this 14 years ago and strangers helped me out.
Praying for you, Quentin. Hope you get there.
