Stop the eviction: 3 months of rent for Yuri's family in Saint Petersburg
A car accident left Yuri short on rent for 3 months; help us stay in our home.

Following a long illness in the family, I fell 3 months behind on rent. Last Thursday a 10-day notice to quit was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $750.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by September, we must leave.
I've 4 children at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working two part-time jobs, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.
Where the $750 goes:
• Rent arrears (3 months): $530
• Late fees and court costs: $45
• Utilities in arrears: $45
• First month of rent as a buffer: $130
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Sending good thoughts. I hope things turn around soon. My neighbor in Los Angeles donated after I showed her your page. Love from Los Angeles!
Keep going, Yuri. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. After 18 years in customer support I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Love from Lahore.
