Stop the eviction: 3 months of rent for Raimundo's family in Duque de Caxias
A notice to vacate arrived last week. Raimundo needs $950 to clear the arrears and stay housed in Duque de Caxias.

When the construction firm closed in January, Raimundo fell 3 months behind on rent. Last Saturday a notice to vacate was taped to the door, and the amount owed is $950.
The landlord was understanding for a while, but has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by April, the family must leave.
There are a teenager still in school at home. Moving would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
Raimundo has started working night deliveries, and is applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.
