Stop the eviction: 3 months of rent for Leonardo's family in Dallas
After the closure of the factory, Leonardo is 3 months behind on rent and has a court summons for non-payment from the landlord.

When the bakery closed in April, I fell 3 months behind on rent. Last Saturday a court summons for non-payment was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $2,950.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by August, we must leave.
I've 4 children at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working weekend shifts, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
The money will be paid directly to the landlord and I'll upload the receipt once it's done.
Where the $2,950 goes:
• Utilities in arrears: $200
• First month of rent as a buffer: $890
• Rent arrears (3 months): $1,860
Every share and every dollar helps.
