Stop the eviction: 3 months of rent for Florence's family in Salé
A final eviction notice arrived last week. Florence needs $250 to clear the arrears and stay housed in Salé.

After a sudden layoff at the warehouse, I fell 3 months behind on rent. Last Friday a final eviction notice was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $250.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by April, we must leave.
I have a toddler and a baby at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working extra hours at a market stall, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.
Where the $250 goes:
• Late fees and court costs: $60
• Utilities in arrears: $35
• First month of rent as a buffer: $155
Thanks for being kind about this.
