Stephanie is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a diploma in hospitality management at the Edinburgh Institute of Technology, and is two terms away from graduating. She has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $4,600. The registrar has said Stephanie can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Stephanie has a 3.8 average, and an academic advisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Stephanie would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Stephanie isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the the Edinburgh Institute of Technology bursar's office.
