Start-up fund for Vishal: reopening a street-food cart after a break-in
Vishal has run a street-food cart for four years; a break-in destroyed the equipment, and $550 will put it back on its feet.

For four years I have run a street-food cart in Thane. In November, a break-in took a gas stove and two refrigerators. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Thursday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 5 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $550 goes:
• Replacing a gas stove and two refrigerators: $350
• Initial stock: ingredients: $115
• Shop repairs and licensing: $85
Thanks for being kind about this.

wishing you the best. Hope you make a strong comeback. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Blessings.
Hope it all works out, Vishal. Hope the shop reopens soon. I'm in nursing myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Take care
I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Greetings from Salvador
Looking forward to the next update. Thinking of Thane.
Hope it all works out, Vishal. It takes guts to ask. Well done. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Greetings from Townsville!
