Start-up fund for Sumbal: reopening a roadside café after a long illness and repossession
A roadside café in Rawalpindi needs help replacing an espresso machine and grinder after a long illness and repossession.

For three years I have run a roadside café in Rawalpindi. In July, a long illness and repossession took an espresso machine and grinder. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Friday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 8 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $450 goes:
• Shop repairs and licensing: $50
• Initial stock: coffee and pastries: $90
• Replacing an espresso machine and grinder: $310
Every share and every dollar helps.

Is there anything that isn't money that would help Sumbal?
Praying for you, Sumbal. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. We're a small family in Bandung but we're thinking of you. All the best.
Sending good thoughts, Sumbal. Shared it with a few friends. Thinking of Rawalpindi.
shared this with my family. After 24 years in engineering I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Thinking of Rawalpindi
