Start-up fund for Rajesh: reopening a laundry service after a long illness and repossession
Rajesh has run a laundry service for six years; a long illness and repossession destroyed the equipment, and $450 will put it back on its feet.

For six years I have run a laundry service in Mumbai. In July, a long illness and repossession took two washing machines and a dryer. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Saturday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 10 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $450 goes:
• Replacing two washing machines and a dryer: $200
• Initial stock: detergent and packaging: $110
• Shop repairs and licensing: $75
• Working capital for the first month: $65
Thanks for being kind about this.

Quick update: $166 raised so far (37%). I made the first payment toward shop repairs and licensing. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
Wanted to say thank you properly. 15% funded and I met with the supplier and confirmed the amounts.
