Start-up fund for Milon: reopening a barbershop after a long illness and repossession
Milon lost clippers, chairs and mirrors to a long illness and repossession and needs $550 to reopen a barbershop and support the family.

For six years I have run a barbershop in Dhaka. In September, a long illness and repossession took clippers, chairs and mirrors. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Monday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 6 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $550 goes:
• Replacing clippers, chairs and mirrors: $320
• Initial stock: supplies: $95
• Shop repairs and licensing: $35
• Working capital for the first month: $100
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

small businesses are the heart of Dhaka. Hope you're open again soon. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. God bless.
I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My neighbor in Quezon City donated after I showed her your page.
Hope it all works out, Milon. Small businesses are the heart of Dhaka. Hope you're open again soon. We're a small family in Dallas but we're thinking of you. Love from Dallas.
