Start-up fund for Leo: reopening a barbershop after a fire in the building
Leo has run a barbershop for nine years; a fire in the building destroyed the equipment, and $600 will put it back on its feet.

For nine years I have run a barbershop in Makati. In March, a fire in the building took clippers, chairs and mirrors. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Tuesday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 6 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $600 goes:
• Replacing clippers, chairs and mirrors: $310
• Initial stock: supplies: $135
• Shop repairs and licensing: $50
• Working capital for the first month: $105

You're not alone, Leo. I hope things turn around soon. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust.

sending love. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money.
