The old Lotus bus depot needs a solar-powered water pump - Jameson's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a solar-powered water pump - we need $2,600 for materials.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a solar-powered water pump. This year a group of 25 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Lotus bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $2,600.
It will serve about 556 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.

• Tools hire and delivery: $370
• Permits and inspections: $230
• Materials: $2,000
