Start-up fund for Intan: reopening a roadside café after a break-in
A roadside café in Jakarta Selatan needs help replacing an espresso machine and grinder after a break-in.

For six years I have run a roadside café in Jakarta Selatan. In August, a break-in took an espresso machine and grinder. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Saturday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 10 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $350 goes:
• Replacing an espresso machine and grinder: $165
• Initial stock: coffee and pastries: $70
• Shop repairs and licensing: $60
• Working capital for the first month: $55
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Good news. Because of your gifts ($200 in total) the plan for initial stock: coffee and pastries is now scheduled. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
