Start-up fund for Dian: reopening a roadside café after floodwater
Dian has run a roadside café for nine years; floodwater destroyed the equipment, and $450 will put it back on its feet.

For nine years I have run a roadside café in Jakarta. In September, floodwater took an espresso machine and grinder. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Monday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 10 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $450 goes:
• Replacing an espresso machine and grinder: $175
• Initial stock: coffee and pastries: $100
• Shop repairs and licensing: $45
• Working capital for the first month: $130
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Hope it all works out. Hope you make a strong comeback. Greetings from Tallahassee.
thinking of you and your family, Dian. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. God bless.
gave what I could, wish it was more. My father had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. God bless.
Thinking of you, Dian. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Thinking of Jakarta.
Stay strong. This could happen to any of us. We're a small family in Aurangabad but we're thinking of you.
