Start-up fund for Débora: reopening a roadside café after a storm that collapsed the roof
A roadside café in Santos needs help replacing an espresso machine and grinder after a storm that collapsed the roof.

For six years I have run a roadside café in Santos. In July, a storm that collapsed the roof took an espresso machine and grinder. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Saturday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 4 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $650 goes:
• Shop repairs and licensing: $110
• Initial stock: coffee and pastries: $170
• Replacing an espresso machine and grinder: $370
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

Stay strong, Débora. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Greetings from San Miguel de Tucumán.
Stay strong, Débora. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.
Hope you get there. Thinking of Santos.
