Start-up fund for Brian: reopening a fish stall after a long illness and repossession
Brian has run a fish stall for twelve years; a long illness and repossession destroyed the equipment, and $1,900 will put it back on its feet.

For twelve years I have run a fish stall in Liverpool. In February, a long illness and repossession took a freezer and scales. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 4 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $1,900 goes:
• Initial stock: the first catch: $630
• Shop repairs and licensing: $165
• Replacing a freezer and scales: $1,105
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Your post was clear and honest. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Thinking of Liverpool.
