Start-up fund for An: reopening a laundry service after a long illness and repossession
An lost two washing machines and a dryer to a long illness and repossession and needs $2,750 to reopen a laundry service and support the family.

For six years I have run a laundry service in Riverside. In July, a long illness and repossession took two washing machines and a dryer. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Sunday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 5 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $2,750 goes:
• Replacing two washing machines and a dryer: $1,100
• Initial stock: detergent and packaging: $430
• Shop repairs and licensing: $530
• Working capital for the first month: $690
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
