Zain was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma in August. The oncology team at Hyderabad University Hospital has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in October. He will be away from work for about 4 weeks.
Zain is 31, worked as a construction supervisor until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Hyderabad University Hospital 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $600 goes:
• Transport to Hyderabad University Hospital: $110
• Scans and lab work: $180
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $90
• Household costs while unable to work: $220
