Titilayo was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in June. The oncology team at Epe Cancer Centre has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in September. She will be away from work for about 8 weeks. Titilayo is 47, worked as a taxi driver until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Epe Cancer Centre 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $1,500 goes: • Transport to Epe Cancer Centre: $60 • Scans and lab work: $100 • Household costs while unable to work: $210 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,130 Glad we found this place. - Kayode
