Standing with Sumaiya: non-Hodgkin lymphoma treatment costs
Sumaiya is facing non-Hodgkin lymphoma and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Sumaiya was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma in March. The oncology team at Comilla University Hospital has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in June. She will be away from work for about 8 weeks.
Sumaiya is 53, worked as a primary school teacher until March, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Comilla University Hospital 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
