Salim was diagnosed with colon cancer in July. The oncology team at Paris Cancer Centre has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in October. He will be away from work for about 6 weeks. Salim is 26, worked as a cleaner at a hospital until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Paris Cancer Centre 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $6,600 goes: • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $620 • Transport to Paris Cancer Centre: $730 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $5,250 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
