Manolis was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in November. The oncology team at Athens Regional Medical Center has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in February. He will be away from work for about 10 weeks. Manolis is 28, worked as a tailor until November, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Athens Regional Medical Center 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $5,900 goes: • Transport to Athens Regional Medical Center: $330 • Scans and lab work: $960 • Household costs while unable to work: $500 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $4,110 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support. - Kostas
